Best Employers Ranking
Selecting the Best Employers is an absolutely objective process. The organisations are assessed above all by their internal clients – the employees. Our ranking is primarily based on their opinion, as we assume that those are the people who know best and can assess their company as an employer. Neither Hewitt nor the Survey Partners have right or possibility to influence the Survey results. The rank is based on two indicators: Employee Engagement Score and Alignment Score that together constitute the Best Employers Score. To be among the Best Employers, the organisation needs to reach the Engagement Score level of at least 65%. In turn, the Best Employers Score determines the actual position of the company in the official ranking. If more than one organisation achieves the same result, which is also the case of this edition, places ex aequo are being awarded.
The Best Employers Score is composed of:
- Engagement Score with a weighting of 60%
- Alignment Score with a weighting of 40%
Such construction of the Best Employers Rate has its justification, as a strong correlation exists between the factors influencing alignment and engagement. The more consistent are the perspectives of the leaders and HR function, the highest Engagement Score can be expected. A lower level of alignment usually goes together with a low level of engagement.
A general rule applied in Poland is to publish an official ranking of the top ten Best Employers. Exceptions from this rule are possible only if more than one organisation achieves the same level of the final score. It this edition of the Survey, 12 organisations have been awarded with the title of the Best Employer. These are those companies that exceeded a 65% level of engagement. Two companies took ex aequo the 6th place and 4 companies share the 8 th place, which is why the number of laureates is bigger than 10.
