Our Methodology

Our position is that employees determine if an organization is a Best Employer. Accordingly, the Employee Opinion Survey is the primary tool used to determine a participating organization's final ranking for purposes of the Best Employers in Canada list or the Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada list. The HR and Leadership Team Surveys provide insight into why an organization's engagement score may be high or low.

All participants receive a report of the overall findings, and each organization receives its own survey results.
