2009 List
In 2009 we introduced the new Hewitt Best Employers in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Accreditation Process. Organisations need to meet the criteria at each of the three stages in the process to become accredited:
- Stage 1: Complete an Employee Opinion Survey
- Stage 2: Complete a People Practices Inventory
- Stage 3: Undertake an organisational Audit
The criteria are based on five elements identified as consistent to Hewitt Best Employers over the eight-year history of the study in Australia and New Zealand:
- Engagement
- Leadership Commitment
- A Compelling Promise to Employees
- Connecting Employees to the Company and Strategy
- A Differentiated High Performance Culture
Organisations that met the criteria at each of the three stages were accredited as Hewitt Best Employers in ANZ. From this group of accredited organisations the 2009 ‘Best of the Best’ were assessed by an independent judging panel.
The ‘Best of the Best’ were be announced at a gala event on 11 March, 2010 and published by our media partner AFR BOSS on 12 March, 2010.
